● Shave the treatment area the morning of your appointment.
● Do not wax, tweeze, color or use hair removal cream at least 4 weeks before and throughout the entire treatment course. Shaving & clipping are permitted as often as you desire.
● Do not apply antiperspirant before coming for an underarm hair treatment. Do not apply facial cream, makeup or sunscreen prior to facial hair treatment.
● Do not apply any harsh exfoliating cleansers, scrubs, bleaching creams or (Retin-A) 3 days prior & after treatment.
● Please inform your provider of all medication you are taking, some medication can make you photosensitive.
● Please be advised that laser treatment is contraindicated for pregnant women or if you have infected, burned or broken skin.
● Avoid direct sun exposure 2 weeks before and after treatment.
● Apply at least 30 SPF or higher sunscreen to the treatment area for 2 weeks after treatment.
● Apply a good skin moisturizer to the treatment area for at least 3 days after treatment to soothe the skin & speed up recovery.
● You may apply cold compress to the treatment area in case of a burning sensation.
● Clean the area with cold or warm water and avoid extreme heat like hot showers, hot tubs or sauna for 72 hours after treatment.
● The hairs in the treated area will gradually work themselves out in about 3-4 weeks. Do not pick or scratch the treated area.
● For a better outcome please adhere to treatment intervals recommended by your provider.
